Tim -- I Googled "Facebook swap shop" and the first hit I got was for "Jet washing service". I don't think that's something I'd be interested in.

I've wanted to add a Case Copperhead jack knife to my collection, came across this 1986 Fire Fighters Commemorative today and bought it. It has a little bit of spotting on the blade and bolster - even though it is NIB I might just carry this one - it snaps like a gator. I'm not a Fire Fighter, but briefly wanted to be one when I was in Kindergarten, so perhaps it will be okay for me to own it!

Just picked this up the other day, I couldn't resist for $2.This J.A. HENCKELS SOLINGEN is still factory sharp. Any one know anything about the character that makes up the shield?

Very nice and unique... ...a Templar Knight is the first thing that I thought of....looks as if He has a chalice in his left hand. 
But I'm not sure...the Knights Templar had red crosses..
Maybe a Saint...

jonnhierotten, that is an interesting idea about it being a saint. It appears to be a cup or maybe a scroll in its hand.

OH;Thats one snazzy copperhead,I had a good day at the flea's two Imperials one fish tail and a hatchet/bottle opener then a hammerbrand switch-blade al with ice scales

Dogg, those look like they should be a set - nice matching handles! I saw a 3-1/2" Hammer Brand equal end jackknife with the same shell handles this past Friday at an Antique Mall in VA, but I didn't buy it (in fact I didn't buy any knife!!). Beachtree, I don't think that is a Templar design on your knife, but I have no idea what it is.

Beechtree: I believe the figure on your knife is St. Boniface the patron saint of Germany. The peaked cap belongs to a bishop, as was Boniface. He was the first bishop of Mainz. The red halo around the head indicates a martyr. Boniface was killed along with some 50 other missionaries..This J.A. HENCKELS SOLINGEN is still factory sharp
I feel very confident on this, but of course cannot be absolutely certain. The clothing is definitely not that of a crusader or other military type. Hope this helps.

These two arrived today. A Keen Kutter folding hunter and a Berkshire Cutlery Co easy open. Got them from Jarod at AAA Vintage Knives here on AAPK. Goins says Berkshire Cutlery Co USA was a stamp used by Simmons Hardware c. 1939.
