Looks like the Yankees are taking care of business. Go Yanks.

Got busy this afternoon and forgot the Braves/Cardinals playoff game 5 was starting. When I turned the TV on the game was in the 3rd inning, but it was already over!

Now I'm watching to see whether the Cards will be meeting the Dodgers or the Nats in the NLCS. And hoping the Rays can somehow beat the Lastros tomorrow.

But I guess at this point I'll be happy with any World Series matchup that doesn't include the damnYankees or the Dodgers. Go Flyover Country!!!

Still can't believe the body slam the Cards put on the Braves. Tuned in the 3rd inning and it was over already. Didn't know the Naats beat LA until this morning too late for me to stay up but LA was leading when I went to bed.

Have to admit to not paying much attention to the AL. Whose in the ALCS?

Hoping the Rays/Astros game tonight is a barn burner!

Didn't watch the entire game but saw that the Astro's won, so the damn Yankees and the Astros. Playoff baseball is the best.

On paper arguably the two best teams in all MLB this year. And my two least liked teams. Sure glad the games aren't played on paper. I can't stand either of them.

Congrats to Sanchez for a great game tonight. He was amazing. As usual good pitching is the key to winning in the postseason.

Tomorrow should be another good matchup.

Since my Reds aren't in it I could care less. Don't know who's playing, I won't even watch or read about it. Next year my Reds will be in it to win it. ftd

When it's over I'll be resigned to watching the lesser sports, until February when Spring Training starts.

This time of year I'm watching Nats, Caps and WVU. So far 2 of the 3 have been disappointing but not the Nats since they have kept the party going.

The St. Louis crowd was appreciative of Sanchez's effort, a classy group.

It's not sour grapes, the Reds are the only team I've been watching since I was a kid. I have absolutely no interest in other teams and really don't care to watch them. Same goes for the NBA. ftd

As Seattle Mariner fans my wife and I are kind of out of the playoffs but like Ken said if it's baseball we will be watching. We have decided we will root for whichever team has the most recent former Mariner players on it. We can grudgingly cheer on St Louis. We can be semi enthusiastic for the Yankees, they have Jim Paxton and we could sure use him on the mound again in Seattle!
If we absolutely have to we will root for that team from Southern Texas, what's their names. But my wife is adamant no one will be rooting for the Nationals in our house!

Anytime the Cardinals lose, it's a great game!!

Haven't paid attention to MLB since the Texas Rangers lost the world series whenever that was. I've been a Rangers fan since my dad and I used to listen over the radio when we were on fishing trips when I was a kid. It's going to take me a while to catch up with who's who but until then since the Rangers aren't in it, GO ASTROS!

Yanks put a woodshed whupping on them pesky Astros last night, probably ought to have saved a few of them runs for the next 'un.

I wish the game was on earlier, but tomorrow is a holiday (I don't care what they call it, just give me the day off with pay )!

Rest easy, the Yankees and the Astros cannot both get into the World Series as they are both AL teams.

Nats are looking pretty strong after they got rid of that highly paid feller whom I will not name.
