Are There Any BASEBALL Fans On The Forum?

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Congratulations to the Nationals! Clearly the best team at least in this series. Playing great ball at the right time, which is what it takes to win in the post-season.

Now as for the AL, the Nationals win has forced me into the highly uncomfortable position of cheering for the Lastros. ::dang::

I'm with Ken at this point, got to cheer on the Astros in hopes that they take down the Nationals.

Ease up there Cowboy and take a breath. There's 3-6 more games to play in the search for a ring.

I have a feeling Houston's going to take tonight's game. I hope I'm wrong.

I might have Game 5 tickets secured, I'll know by Noon today, so I'm praying for a Game 5! ::pray:: Yankees took Game 1 in Houston so last night's win doesn't mean much at this stage. But it was a sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet win! ::ds::

Hope you can get the tickets. There’s nothing like attending a World Series game in person. The pre-game “pomp and circumstance”, the ballpark decorations, so much is different than that of a regular season game. There truly is a feeling of “electricity in the air”, a feeling of expectation and excitement. If you go, try to get there as early as you can so you can take in all of it. It’s a great show and there’s so much more that you don’t get by watching it on television. ::tu::

Thanks for the advice, Ken. I plan on being there an hour before the gates open because I know it will be a packed house. I remember my first playoff game back in 2012, how much different that was from any regular season game, so I can only imagine what a W.S. game is like. Hoping I get the opportunity. ::pray::

Nats are up 8-2 in the middle of the 7th. I think it's safe to say that Houston is hosed. Next!

If I could have my wish, here's what I would wish for. Nats win tomorrow night (Friday), lose on Saturday night and wrap it all up on Sunday while John is at the game. What a thrill that would be, eh John? ::handshake::
