Here's a couple that belong in this thread.

The "School Knife" always brings back memories for a lot of us... the only mark I can make out
is "Solengin."

The "Tent Mark" knife is made by Richards Sheffield.

Case Bradford, Nickel Silver w/Boy Scout Scene:

Hey everyone!.
Here are 2 I picked up the same day.
The Aluminum one has "Delineator,boy sales" on the Handle and is stamped Meriden.
(Blade was sharpened a lot)
Apparently Delineator was a Magazine that had Clothing Advertisements for Boys ..weird eh?

#2 is a Folded Steel Frame knife that is Stamped "Eagle Knife" (1916-1919),they were best known for this Knife as far as can tell.

I like that Meriden!

Here is an unusual scout knife.

Here are a few old metal handled knives:

The first three are Keen Kutters, the next three are a Case Tested XX, an L.F.& C. and an Eagle Knife Co.

The Eagle has a patent date of 1918, this company was bought out by Winchester in 1919 for their manufacturing processes, It was owned by the Hemming Brothers.

Some call this large framed metal Presto with a bail an "officers knife"

I found this knife yesterday at the flea market.
The spear blade was tipped, so I re-profiled into a Wharncliffe.
Goins' says Singleton and Priestman of Sheffield England were in business circa 1861 – 1936.
I think the handles are stainless steel or nickel silver as they are not magnetic.
The blade and back springs are obviously carbon steel.
It has a double liner in the center but the knife does not appear to come apart.

Can I see a picture looking straight down on the back springs?

Dale:If it has a double center liner it should dis-assemble.Does the center rivet go all the way through the knife? Sometimes the blades have to be in a certain position before they will split apart.With the blades open you should be able to look down inside the knife to see if there is any hint of a connecting part.

I opened both blades and could see something inside the pocket for the fork.
I tapped the end and it came apart. There is something sticky inside that made it harder to get apart.
