Wow...the knives y'all have been posting here are amazingly beautiful....make me wish I had several more stag....here's my two

The fixed blade was always strange to me. I ordered it from SMKW. The sheath is way longer than the knife, the tang is 1991, the box is marked 2000 and is bigger than the sheath

Nice ones, Mikeb...looks like you've been holding out on us I can't help but wonder what other hidden treasures you have stashed away?

Speaking of beautiful copperlocks, here's the "Copperlock Evolution Stag Set". Don't see a lot of these, but I always really liked it. Probably because I love trappers, copperheads & copperlocks, along with whittlers, cheetahs, folding hunters, congress, etc., etc... Heck, I guess I love'em all.

I do love the stags and it seems that Case is making fewer these days (especially in the larger patterns). I have a few "Prime Stags" that I will try to post when I have time to get some pictures.
I sold this red stag set a couple years ago for a pretty good profit, and have had sellers remorse ever since.
Don't think I'll be making that mistake again, anytime soon.

And I can totally relate with the sellers remorse...I get a bad case of it every time I look at the photos of all the beautiful stag knives I have owned and sold over the years...I wish I had kept all of them. You can always get more money, but the knives are irreplaceable. I'm now at the point in my collecting that I don't sell any of my stag knives anymore.

Funny how that works. I don't think I've ever regretted selling bone, pearl, or even ivory knives, but when I sell some of my stag, I almost always regret it. Like you, I don't think I'll be parting with many of my stag knives in the future, except for the occasional duplicates, but I'll probably keep most of them as well.
