Great pick up Jason. I’ve found craftsman boxes very difficult to find. That one looks mint. The hinges are cool as well.

Thanks guys - I think this one is fairly uncommon. I can't remember seeing an Old Crafty box like this before.

Thanks TPK. That's a 9488 on the bottom left.. When I got it, it had a clip master that had a broken tip, so I
turned it into a Wharncliff..

Added this one to my Craftsman family today. A Craftsman 9473 Junior Stockman. 2-3/4 inches closed with jigged delrin handles. The blades are tight with good snap, no wobble. They are stained but still have some of the original luster.

It Needed a little cleaning, as its had some light chalk oxidation in the handles, and what looked like some 3-in-1 oil gunk mixed with lint in the blade well. Cleaned and gave a mineral oil bath, then flushed with wd-40 and blew out with light compressed air. Added some Mequire's PlastX plastic polish to a lint free towel and polished the handles. Wiped the blades down and oiled the joints.

Cleaned up very knice.

That's a really nice looking k knife Smitty! Cleaned up well! Nice Score Buddy! Especially like that long pull!

The new Case scales, Curly Maple? I think it's called. Have you checked them out? They look awesome! And the Gun Stock pattern has a long pull. It's very tempting! I think we both need one of those! (SMKW)

Yep, seen them and The Gunstock. Good looking scales on them. That's the only problem......I keep seeing more knives

Thanks Doglegg, you got your package from Canada as well last week. Roland is great to deal with ,and very happy with these . Need to do some checking on these to verify maker . Not sure who did what here in this bunch , Schrade/ Camillus.

For the two 4 blade Utility knives one is Camillus and the other Ulster Knife Co.

Thanks Roland, the Ulster one has that faint KINGSTON etch as we discussed. So that adds up. And the other sure looks and feels like a good old Camillus. It’s been interesting to research these and am very happy to add them to the Collection.

Here's the Craftsman version of the 34OT. I just got this from the auction site, replete with box, paper insert, and dried oil on the blades. Although it's minty, I'll be carrying it. That spey is just a little funny though, isn't it? The edges all appear to be factory. Maybe an employee had a little too much coffee that morning--or not enough.

You done good, and like new ! You mention the Spey, it does look a little off ,or maybe the9546 Crafty had a peculiar Spey. Any case, dandy piece of Cutlery and part of America’s good ol days IMO.
