It did get worse. En route to tonight's game, win or lose it's my first World Series so I'm pretty excited. Let's go Nationals!!!

Old Hunter said he didn’t have a dog in this fight, I’m in the boat with him. I have enjoyed watching the games and would love to see the Nats take the next game, game 7 might be a humdinger!

I don't get it. They win two on the road, then turn right around and lose the next three at home. I hope they can repeat the first two games.

On the ropes but still in the fight. Had a great time regardless, glad I was able to get a ticket. Never know when this might happen again so you've got to make the most of it.

Too bad your team lost, John, but hey, it was an historic night. There were snipers on the roof protecting the President, meanwhile the fans booed that President and chanted "lock him Up" (must be ISIS fans as well as Nats fans) and despite it being late October there was apparently a heat wave behind home plate as a couple of young ladies in yellow shirts attempted to cool down ala Wrigley Field Bleacher Bum style.

Yes, that was embarrassing and the low point of the night, way worse than loosing. And the worst part is the booing happened during the Salute to Troops. Not a lick of respect, too much "it's all about me" in today's secular society.

I apologize for injecting politics into this thread with my clumsy attempt at humor. I also didn't mean to denigrate Nationals fans, it would probably have happened, to some extent, at most stadiums in the league. Criminy sakes, he only got 4% of the D.C. vote, so a negative reaction had to be expected.
Back to baseball and Go Nationals!
