A squirrel smoking a pipe? Wouldn't that be a sight to behold?

Kinda freakish ehh?? Buy the way I started smoking a pipe in the Navy when ya could still sport a beard. Kept my hands warm in the winter time. I love the aroma of Captain Black,( In the blue pouch). Yep, A cool fall or winter day, a hot cup of joe ,a good book and a warm pipe...pure pleasure my friend!

Scored this Case XX U.S.A., 10 dot, at an estate sale today. Everything's sweet about this knife except the handle on the pile side. It has a nice little chunk missing, smack in the middle. But the price was worth it. Plenty of work left in this knife. Bull

J.R., Yep, there sure is. I saw a patch job of a knife handle that Muskrat Man did. Just pulled a scale off of a beater and worked it gradually till it fit. He did an excellent job. I'd like to try my hand at that. Sweetest part of all that knife I bought today Johnnie, was that I got all that blade for $2.00! Bull

Came across this NOS 1980 ten dot Case 21051 LSSP yesterday. I've never seen one of these before, sort of a marriage between a Sodbuster Junior and a Lock-back. It has the Sodbusters smooth, black composition handles combined with a lock and a bolster. Nice size for pocket carry at 3-5/8", but with a decent size drop-point blade. OH

I picked this ALOX Cadet up on Tuesday, it was in the display case of an ACE Hardware store for $19.99 - figured I could see what I think and keep it, or hold on to it and use if for a HS Grad gift for a kid sometime. The Swiss seem to be as fit and finish conscious as are our good brands; it is a lot of knife for the money - a good little EDC for dress slacks. OH

This was made by Bear & Sons for Mac Tool. Scales are Zebra Wood. F&F are decent. Arrived yestertday.

Thanks for the compliments gents - I find the Case lockback an intriguing pocketknife. Quick Steel, nice MAC-Bear - I own one Bear MGC (a 4" Stockman) - I think they are great knives for the money. Speaking of Bear & Son - I got this in an e-mail from them yesterday (register your knife with them on-line and you will get occasional e-mail's). OH

Had a good day at the flea's picked up a Ulster MOP Whittler,Challenger French ivory and a Imperial carved Boyscout.Two are shown with one of my favorite EDC a Schrade Walden 804.

Just got my first Buck Creek and a nice little Colonial that I have never saw one like it.

Nice pick ups Knifetime. How do you like that Buck Creek? I was just checking some of those out on the Deadwood site, but I have never handled one before and don't know anything about them. How's the fit and finish? Blades tight? Feel sturdy?
I like the Colonial too, ya can't hardly go wrong with a good ol' Colonial!

Dead wood knives is the very sight I got it from and I have got to say it is a great store.
The knife it self is of good quality but not the fit and finish of my Bulldogs or Roosters but a good knife.The stag on it is perfect on both sides and is as good as I have saw on any new knife.I'm glad I bout it but I'll probably stick with the dogs and roosters for there fit and finish.

Been looking at neck knives a bit and found this one for a good price.
Comes with a belt clip too and looks to have enough handle to use.

Great knife IMBand.I got just one CRKT and I carry it every day and I love it.The one I have is a Bluepoint and is a very well made knife.The one you have there appears to be a very well made also.

IM, the blade on the CRKT looks much like the one on the Buck 113 - bet that CRKT would do a good job skinning (don't know about how comfortable the grip would be over a lengthy skinning/cutting job). OH
