SHOW US YOUR PETS!!!

If you can think of something to talk about that is not related to knives, discuss it here.

Condolences Ken. Our animals are a great blessing to us. Some think their loss is permanent but I do not. My experience has been otherwise.

Beautiful, and interesting cat! Sounds like she has a typical cat attitude too. :lol:

Dog math is sooooo hard because you never end up with the exact same results. But with my dogs,
1 + 1 = 4. ::nod:: ::super_happy::

We had planed on keeping 2 females. We recieved 4 males. :lol:
Probably only keep one now. ::shrug:: :lol:

This morning, our cat, Banjo, crossed the rainbow bridge at 9:06. He was "my little guy" to me and "BJ boy" to my wife. He was suffering from a cancerous tumor in his ear canal, jaundice and complications from surgery that had the cancerous tumor removed. We basically had our own little hospice for him here at home for a few days and had just went to Springfield, MO. and Kansas City (Overland Park, KS.) on Monday to try to save him.
He was originally named "Whiskey," by a young man who couldn't keep him due to moving to a place with no pets. He gave him to his dad who said he'd keep him one night while he tried to find a new owner, but he was going to just let him go the next day. We were those new owners.
He provided so much joy and humor to our family. One of the best was when my elderly father would use his walker and let Banjo ride on the sitting seat of the walker while he pushed it. And, as you see by this picture, he could get himself into tight places.
Our hearts are way beyond broken and I am trying to write this thru tears. Either today or tomorrow he will be cremated and brought back home.

Sorry to hear of your loss. Pets of all types become family members and are mourned as such. He was a fine looking little carnivore who was lucky to find a home and live his life with you.

I had a cat that looked a lot like Banjo once and he was one of the most entertaining cats I’ve ever had. Sorry to hear of the loss. They leave a big hole when they are gone.
