, but it's not easy to find books bout knives in this part of the world.

so, I'm very exited when i found them.

found these in the flea market while looking for knives, pay about $10 for all three.

Well Gino,,,,,,,,,,, I guess it was a Queen weekend. I picked these two up this morning at the Jockey Lot. These sre the first Queens I've owned,,,,,,,, I'm rather pleased with them overall.

My Metal salesman stopped by again today and guess what he brought me?

A small custom Phill Hartsfield, he commissioned about 20 years ago.

I will post some pics tomorrow.
2-1/2" blade 4-3/4" total length, Cocobolo scales w/ SS lined leather sheath.

Ordered this yesterday as a gift for a fellow knife guy.
He collects 1965-69 mainly. Its on the very low end of
that era but still pretty cool.

TC, that is one nice lookin Case and that 65-69 is my most favorite Case era to collect. It is still somewhat affordable and you still get the great Case quality.

Eisenhower's are nifty! Even though they are a little knife, they are sought after by many collectors.

Not technically a 'find of the day' this thread fits as good as any I guess.

This was sent to me with a couple other I have posted that were my Grandfathers.
This knife was his brothers, my Great Uncle Bob. He passed away while hunting
with this knife in his pocket in about 1981. He was found on the trail, game in hand.
It then went to my Grandfather. The other side has some Very sticky tape on it
that says 'Bob'. My Grandfather died about 10 years ago and my Grandmother has
memory problems so it was labeled by my aunt. Thats how I know it was Bobs.
After being told that most of my life (25+yrs) you guys will probably tell me that
this model wasn't even made then, LOL !!
