This little 3" closed 253109 has been getting a good amount of pocket time lately! Very pocket friendly and quite stout for such a small knife. Plus the blade shape makes it a nice alternative knife to to carry along with a larger clip style knife.
I like the way the patina is developing too...

Nice Mike, I too have a GEC in my pocket most days. One of these, Northwoods Burnside Jack, Farm and Field or this Northfield #72 in stag.

Tho I rotate several knives this one is almost always in my shirt pocket. I think these slim GECs are a great pattern.

I would totally agree QS. I have one Executive Whittler and find they are extremely well built for such a thin knife.

I finally gave in and picked one of these up for carry, north woods forest jack in smooth calico bone. Very nice piece, it'll be hard to move to the next one in the rotation... ::cb::

I guess I have you to blame for getting it... ::dang:: dangling all those pretty north woods knives ya have in front of me. ::facepalm:: I just couldn't resist! ::sneaky:: I'm afraid at some point I might hafta pick up a Fremont in blue camel bone. Sheesh, I'll tell ya Derrick makes one heck of sfo. ::nod::

Haha! ::rotflol:: good one. I didn't know what all the hype was until I got one in my hand. Very nice. I'm thinking Fremont or burnside at the moment. Of course that could change, there are so many north woods knives to choose from... ::facepalm::

Depends really on what you like more or what you needs are. If you want a blade you don't have to use the nick on, I would say go for the Fremont Jack. If you want more of a pocket pleaser, go with the Burnside. If you're gonna use the pouch regardless then get both like me.
