I have a weakness for Wharncliffe blades, and IMO that blade fits the Wharncliffe family.
If memory serves me, that blade was used in some doctor's knives.
I supposed it was designed for surgery. ::shrug::

It makes my 20th Century skin crawl to think of a doctor pulling a knife out of his pocket and doing surgery on me, but I guess it was done that way at one point in time before the science of microbiology.

Don't know what I've got ::shrug:: , except that they have been wet way too long. I saw a scout knife, a blue cub scout knife, a leg knife, a Boker, several Western hunting knives, a couple of staight razors. a plumb bob, a hoof knife with a deer antler handle, some kind of a Barlow and a several others. Kinda' exciting ::nod:: , wondering if they will loosen up and clean up good enough for an EDC or whatever! Came from an antique/junk store where we went to buy a Homer Laughlin plate my wife had her sights set on.

I had posted this on another thread but I got some new pic's of it, that show it off much better. It it a 1991 Remington "Camillus" Bullet knife that had cracked handle "imagine that" and now it has a nice set of staged, amber bone handles. by AAPK member?

Found this M.S.A. - USA made knife at a pawn & gun and bought it yesterday. I think it may have genuine pearl handles, but I'm unsure of that as I am no expert. The knife has nice action and is marked as being made in 2001. OH
