Yah i'm with Perry, Monk. You're pics are always top notch!
Great knife, what's the story behind the ancient kauri wood? Was it harvested in ancient times and reclaimed, or an ancient tree recently harvested? Not a wood i'm familiar with.

GEC ran this 50,000 year old wood, a few times back in 2011,to see how it was,for knife scales*** must not have worked to well, or was not cost efficient ??? ::shrug::

Hey MONK, the Rootbeer acrylic handle is about as close as GEC has ever come to the original butter and molasses handle huh? Wouldn't it be great if they could nail an acrylic in butter and molasses. I'd buy every single last one! Doubt we'll ever see it but I like to dream. ::pray::

Yes and if they could somehow get a swirl of an "L" shape in there, in brownish hues somehow, man what a knife it would be.

Hey roofsc____ I don't crappie fish*****___but they should start biting in a few weeks also (deeper brush piles )--- my buddy said the water temp was 42-44 and when it hits about 50-52 the bites gets better every day !!!! --- the new ""Lake Management "" crowd, passed a law, prohibiting putting ""brush piles, christmas trees, ect."" into Lake Greenwood, unless you have property with a pier / dock !!!----- I'm sure it won't stop, but it will slow some down ::hmm::_______Lookin' for some ,like the one below !!! ::nod::
