Check these out

These arrived yesterday, 2 products from our own Jeff Finamore, proprietor of Second Life Knives here in the AAPK store.

A Schrade 34OT with new factory main blade and purple bones, and a Schrade 77OT with sunset bones and original blades.

Everything was made in America and improved in the same place by a craftsman who's at the top of his game. I couldn't be more pleased with the quality and pride that went into these knives.

I ordered them this past weekend. I had a shipping notification before I woke up on Monday. They arrived snuggled in nicely. The purple is a birthday gift for my wife and the Muskrat is a gift for a friend. Im almost sad to be giving them away. Almost.

Great new handles by Mr. Finamore! The muskrat is really nice. ::tu::

This old Schrade barlow took a month to get to Starvation Plantation, several trips across the Florida Panhandle and three cross country trips from California to Florida, back to CA, then back to FL. ::shrug:: This knife caught my eye because the blades were full but but rusty. Too late I remembered to take a before picture. There are a couple of spots that are pitted but it'll be a good EDC for somebody one day. I'm convinced the blades have a factory edges and this knife must have been sitting somewhere without any attention for several years, it's cleaning up nice. Walk and talk is great.

Reading the Finnamore name here reminded me that I forgot to post pics of the set of steak knives I bought from him a while back. Green G10 handles. Super sharp stainless blades. We love them and get compliments from dinner guests when used.
