Thank you, Mark. There was a time when I had 11 or 12 Railsplitters but I never did have a Stag model. Needless to say, that’s my favorite one of the bunch.

I know it’s a cheap knife, but for some reason I get a kick out of seeing my last name on a knife. This is definitely one of my sub collections.

Went down to gec this am. Picked up a stag and jigged case brown canoes. The jigged is an s knife but the flaw can barely be detected with a magnifier. The slightest chip in the bone around a pin.

Nice pick ups guys!! Well, me and my wife will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary July 28th. She asked me what I wanted. I told her I wanted a Victorinox Super Tinker. I think the Super Tinker is the perfect Swiss Army Knife (in my humble opinion). I went and picked me up one just awhile ago and here she is. I know it's a little early but I couldnt wait! I have been carrying a Swiss Army Knife since 1983 when i got out of the Navy. I have never had a Super Tinker. I'm a happy man!! Cant wait to cut or fix something!! :D I mostly carried a Tinker and a Fieldmaster. The Fieldmaster is a great knife but a little bulky. The Tinker is a fine knife but has no scissors. I think this one will be carried daily for quite some time. Sorry about the rant!! :D

Nice choice, Kevin. I like the Super Tinker too. It’s a nice medium width SAK with a good selection of tools. I have all three models that you mentioned and it can be very difficult to choose which one to carry on any given day. It usually comes down to thickness for me and the Super Tinker gets chosen often.

Edit to add a picture of the three models for thickness comparison in case it might help someone.
White: Tinker
Yellow: Super Tinker
Green: Fieldmaster

I think I'm going to like it Rick!! I need my scissors which the Tinker doesn't have. I like the slimness of the Tinker (which I've had for 20 years) but when I carry the Tinker I always throw a Mini Champ in my pocket with it because I always need the scissors. Now I have one a little thicker than the Tinker but with the scissors. Boy, for the money, you just cant hardly beat a SAK!! Not as well built as my beloved Case pocket knives, but for users, you just cant beat them (again, in my humble opinion)!😊😊
