Yankee John wrote:Picked these four up today from another antique store.
Top left is a Frontier 3-blade 4131, and on the top right a 2-blade Colonial.
The bottom two both have some damage, and I know little about them- But the price was right. I shy away from damaged knives, but these ones just spoke to me. Lower left is an unknown bone scaled camp-style 4-blade knife. It is marked 'high carbon steel' on the main blade, and 'spiral punch' on the punch/reamer. I have no idea of the maker.
The bottom right is marked G.R.C. Co Chicago on all of the three blades. It is some sort of celluloid advertising scales that are in terrible condition. Again, I know nothing of GRC Co. of Chicago.
Enjoy!
John
Good finds - wish we still had antique stores out my way.

Tim, nice knives!!!
tendots, thank you.
Well, it is wood, but I don't know what kind. It is nice looking, in spite of the fact wood is not my first choice for handle material.
(no threatening e-mails please)
I was cruising "carpentry/woodworking tools" when it came loafing along advertised as a carpenter whittler.
Being a carpenter, I was quite attracted to it. It has respectable enough blade action, but not real snappy.
Also, some minor pitting was buffed out.
It really is a nice knife. Glad to have it.
By the way, does anyone know Schrades model number for this knife?
Thanks again.

You guys are really hauling in the nice stuff. I've never stopped at a garage sale, guess I ought to. I have a buddy who is traveling with his wife this week on the "Worlds Longest Yard Sale" - he has been sending me pictures of tables of knives that he has come across - not sure if they have made it out of Alabama yet. Bruce that must be the U.S. 127 yard sale. It runs through part of the county I live in here in Kentucky. I avoid that mess.
