Georgia was off, badly. I don't think they were in the game they thought they deserved. Some of the player's attitudes and motivation were just not there.

Especially, after the whupping ND suffered.

I don't think Texas could have beaten the team Bama played in The SEC game.

Just wasn't the same.

Here we go again, another setup for Alabama to win the title. The BCS committee ( what a joke) just doesn't quit. Notre Dame shouldn't have even been considered for the final 4. The Heisman trophy, another joke. Haskins, from Ohio State, had 50 passing touchdowns, and almost 5000 yards passing and wasn't even considered. National championship what a joke...... Gosh, and all this time I thought Texas played the same team that 'Bama played and Texas did beat them in every aspect of the game. Even our mascot got the best of the Georgia Bulldog, who looks the same whether he is going or coming.

Ray, I did not mean to infer that Texas was not a good team or that they didn't deserve the win. I just didn't think Georgia was playing up to their previous levels. They thought they should have been in the playoffs and I suspect that is so.

And I thought Bebo's lunge at Uga was classic. That clip will be played for a long time. Gotta admire the way his handlers did their jobs. That's a lot of muscle to wrangle.

From my observations today it appears Notre Dame had no business in the top 10, much less the top 4. I guess we'll see soon enough if perhaps Clemson is just that good, to make the Irish look that bad.

I have a lot of respect for the Alabama football program. For many years they have dominated the SEC and to a large extent, the rest of college football as well. Tonight they got their butts handed to them by an obviously superior Clemson Tiger team. By halftime there was little doubt who would walk away with the national title. I'll be the first to admit I did not see this coming. Just yesterday I told my soon to be son in law that I did not think there was a team anywhere who could handle this Alabama team. Boy was I wrong.

I've got good friends who are fans of both teams so I was not really pulling for either one against the other, but I think you should give credit where credit is due. Clemson deserves a lot of credit for playing one heck of a football game tonight.

I really appreciated what the Clemson coach had to say after the game where he gave God credit for his accomplishments and gave praise to Jesus.

Congratulations Clemson and all your fans. What a game !
