All About Pocket Knives

I would say most of the time there's one GEC in my pocket along with an oldie.

I'm gonna toot my own horn or rather the horn of GEC for a minute. If you have never owned a Tidioute Houndstooth LL like this one, do yourself a huge favor and get one now! I have owned this knife for a while now and when I compare this to some of my customs and even other knives I own, this one stands out by leaps and bounds. The fit, finish and lines or curves are simply close to perfection without a doubt. I got this from GunstockJack in the stores here. I've had this knife clean dirty and back to clean again and it just gets better with age. Barry knows GEC and can help you with any concerns you might have but with this knife there's never gonna be any at all!

Nice Perry, I have the same but mine is non-liner-lock. I don't have that much carry time with it but I definitely favor the pattern. it's my Sunday knife, nice small size.

Gorgeous knife Perry......couldn't agree with you more on the #55 pattern, very well proportioned and done to perfection by GEC!!
Yours sure has some nice looking Bocote on it.....

My favorite GEC model to EDC. Speys are my favorite blade by far. I wish they'd make more. My other one has been EDCed much more and has a nice patina. This one is a fairly recent aqusition so not much of a patina yet.

That is a fine looking GEC there Hig....I too am a big fan of the spey blade, very useful. I like the simplicity of that knife, I bet it is nice and thin and pocket friendly. I don't have any single blade knives with just a spey myself, something else to put on the list!

Thanks Mike. I love the single Spey TCs. They are very pocket friendly, nice and slim for sure. My other one is in African Blackwood, but any model in sawcut bone is favored.

Snagged a 92 OD Green Linen Micarta spear blade over the past week-end.. Has been riding the rfp.. Nice size and feels good in hand.. F&F, W&T is great!! John
