Amazing Mike, a co-op with the etch! that is awesome. As are so many knives here. This is a feel good thread. I sold a bunch of knives recently so these are almost all my bare head jacks. A Walden, Schrade and Schrade Walden.

James I am with Greg on that comment about the easy open Schrade! WOW, that is just a phenomenal knife!!
That is a Schrade collection foundation piece ::tu:: ::tu::

What does the primary blade tang stamp look like? Is it a curved Schrade tang stamp?

Some beautiful knives being posted by all ::tu:: ::tu:: ... Been offline for awhile now so just just seeing the last 4 or so pages of this thread - some real nice knives 8) ...

Here's an American Shear & Knife Co - 3 5/16" - a nice Boys Knife... The master blade has a crocus mark side finish and the pile side still has remnants of a glaze finish which I had read was not unusual for blade finishing..

Agree on both counts. Lee , it seems it’s hardly the mark side is darker than the pile side.

Thanks all ::tu:: ...

Lyle - Interesting right?! :wink: ... usually the pile side is darker but maybe in this case they considered the slightly darker mark side the look that they were trying to achieve... in truth in many cases, not all, the hafters probably just grabbed what was in front of them - keeping in mind they were just tools for the market and not for our collections :) ....
