Had some leftovers, just threw them in the Cast Iron, fried them up and winged it as i went, added some seasonings and worcesteshire sauce. Was really good,a great way to use up leftovers and stops wastage. Have enough leftover for a breakfast.

I commented over in the Diner that I was going on a road trip which was to include a stop at Mary's Cafe for the world's greatest chicken fried steak and the Bride and I did just that.
Here is a picture of that plate full of goodness. Right after the photo was made I covered it and fries with gravy and dug in. Truth is, only a part of the steak can be seen because the fries are covering part of it up.
Great meal and a great place.

My 14 year old daughter Lorelai baked us two cherry pies today.
"Can she bake a cherry pie, Billy Boy, Billy Boy? Can she bake a cherry pie, Charming Billy?"
Anybody remember the song about Billy Boy?

When I told my mom that her granddaughter baked some cherry pies she started singing it. There are a few different versions out there. This one is from the "Candy Mountain Girls".

Here are some pictures of the pies.
