Jerry, mine appears to be a double barrelled Canoe, the box is only marked Rough Rider Outdoorsman Series with RR1110 on the end.
I just opened this thing, all 4 blades and got to thinking, "I'm sittin' here bare footed as a yard dog and if I drop this thing with all the blades splayed open, I'm apt to get stuck." ::hmm::
We went through this sometime ago, what is the practicality of such a knife? It is certainly not comfortable in the hand even with only one blade opened. If all the other knives disappeared it would be a wonderful piece of cutlery but until then, naw! ::td::
I'd take 100 bucks for this one since they are such a wonderful item. Jerry when you sell yours, tell 'em about mine. ::nod::

It's like the Case "Beast" knives with blades all stacked-up so the thing is a couple of inches thick, or those gawdawful SAK that have about 50 blades and are 18 inches thick. But, I guess if we're going to start playing the "what's the practical use of..." game, we would all be looking at our piles of knives and then suddenly getting very quiet... :D

Rough Riders have been quiet lately.
Lets wake it up with the Rough Rider "25th Anniversary" Serialized Limited Edition Giant Trapper. #RR2146.
8" Closed, this is a BIG trapper. Fileworked backsprings, collector's box shows the past Rough Rider shields.
I should receive it in a couple days. The pictures below are from SMKW.com's Dec. 2019 catalog.
If you are a RR collector you may want to add this to your stash. ::nod::

They have also released a green micarta sowbelly stockman which looks okay. I saw a short you tube review from SMKW, about $15 i think.

Ooooh! I like the handles on that one. Good choice.

I have a #18 Mini-Trapper I'm quite fond of. It's the profile of the secondary blade that does it for me. Well made knife.

I have a few of the Kissing Crane China knives and they are of similar high quality as the Rough Riders. Not all China made knives are good but either of these 2 brands will reliably give you a solid and sharp user knife for very little money.

I picked up this new in box 4 1/8" Rough Rider RR777 trapper today at one of our local antique malls. It was marked $8, and the promo for today was 20% off, so $6.40 was the price.I like the acorn shield Rough Riders, nice smooth bone handles, sharp as can be and the price.

OC, I very much like the sleek looks of this RR. Smooth bone is a favorite of mine, especially for a using knife. ::tu::
