Mike what's that fixed blade bad boy you posted ?
That fixed blade is a TOPS TSK.... stands for Tactical Steak Knife ::facepalm:: Silly name for a really cool little knife. It is more of a reference to the size I think, as it is small and unobtrusive, but full tang and strong enough to stand up to woods use ::tu::

I really like that whaler knife. Bear claw handles are a good name for them.

That's a fine lookin knife, and congrats on a job well done getting that pearl to show up in the picture. I'd say you've just about nailed down the technique of taking photos of MOP scales, not an easy thing to do.

Thanks Rookie. Funny, but I never cared much for mother of pearl until I got my first knife with it. Now I am becoming a fan.

Monk - that Northfield jack on that old board is a perfect pairing of subject and background. I love that photo! Nice use of reflections in the Northfield whittler too.

Q - nice group of wharncliffes.

Bob Cargill referred to that pattern as a Reverse Dogleg. Call it what you want. That is a good looking knife.
