I SPENT COUNTLESS "HOURS" STARING AT & HANDLING THAT 92 JACK FROM,JUSTIN(jdub)....
OVER THE LAST 5 DAYS WHILE TIFF WAS IN THE HOSPITAL...... MOST THE TIME SHE WAS ASLEEP,
AND IT WAS JUST ME....MY KNIVES ...AND AAPK (without being able to log in-which makes it way harder...lolol...but i was scared to use my log in on their device )


AND "YOU" SAID IT RIGHT,BRO....... THEY TRULY WERE "COMPANIONS"

You guys are all doing pretty darn good at taking photo's of hard to capture things, I am 72 years old and still learning! I try to use natural lighting (weather permitting ) with not too much for props to distract away from the knife. If you tilt the knife while looking through the view finder you'll be able to see how light affects the out come. I have included a photo of a double edge dagger with mammoth ivory scales that I just made of a customer to show how the center line shows up when tilted just right. One half will be almost black and the other side nice and shiny. Focus is really important also, nothing bothers me more than seeing things for sale on ebay and really out of focus photos! To me, good photo's are a must if you expect to sell something. Just my opinions. Practice, practice, practice! thanks for looking, as always Terry for what it's worth I use a Nikon D40 digital and use the auto setting most of the time.

I posted this in another thread so I apologize for the "over exposure"...but I was pretty happy with these shots of my newly aqured Case so I thought I would post them here as well...gotta love that red bone. This one is from 1972

Mike - I like that Case. I really do not think that anyone is going to get mad at you for posting too many good photos of a good knife. I sure won't!
