Just took this close up of the edge...

I am not sure if this is a pic of a knife with some radishes...or a pic of some radishes with a knife Either way I thought it turned out kinda cool. Monk - yes, that is an old lead fishing weight. It and the stones were in my Dad's old tackle box. I recently noticed it in the attic and opened it to see what was in it. Been a couple of decades since it was last opened, I guess. The Kutmaster was his too, though it has been in my drawer. You can see that he liked sharpening knives and hooks.

Here's one of the few "vintage" knives I still have left. For some reason, the newer Case knives just don't have that deep, rich dyed bone like the old ones.

Indeed it is...you are correct...6207. However, it has an unusually large pattern stamp on the tang...larger than normal (compare it to this 2002 wharncliffe mini trapper and also to Ivoryman's 1965-69 red bone 6207). Any ideas as to why Case used different size numbers, even for knives from the same years?
