I like the crown antler handle and the brass guard which is why I bought it, but the blade leaves a lot to be desired. The grind is not even and I can see lots of waves from over buffing. But I guess for $34 dollars you don't get "Loveless" quality.
I did notice the price went up to $60 since I bought this one.

I have a couple Pakistan fixed blades, a hunter and a dagger in Damascus. Hard to sharpen, but they will cut.

I specified those handle materials and was a bit nervous as to how they would turn out. The maker did not have a lot of experience and this was my first truly custom knife, i.e. made to my specifications. Ultimately, I was satisfied with the result.

Some fabulous BIG knives! I love this thread. I think that I posted a big Randall awhile back? Here is a (Hangas) Ruana that fits the definitions, I think.
