A couple of days ago, this SCHRADE 204S, electrician or lineman pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I was quite surprised and VERY pleased to discover it among the group or lot of pocket knives and it did make a fine addition to my general, pocket knife accumulation. It is a SCHRADE 204S, one blade, one tool (wire stripper), two tang stamps, 3 3/4" closed (not including the bail), two springs, electrician or lineman, pattern or style of pocket knife. The main blade front tang stamp says, "SCHRADE (over) WALDEN (over) N.Y. U.S.A." The main blade back tang stamp says, "204S" The main blade has a CRISP half stop, a VERY GOOD opening snap and a VERY GOOD closing snap. The tool has a CRISP half stop, a GOOD opening snap and a GOOD closing snap. This pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It required a very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Recently, this electrician or lineman, pattern or style of pocket knife, arrived in a group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes my latest example to be posted under this topic or thread. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. However, I was quite surprised and VERY pleased to discover it among the group or lot of pocket knives. It definitely made a fine, welcomed addition, to my general pocket knife accumulation. It is an Imperial, one blade, three tools (a blade/wire stripper, a cap lifter or bottle opener, and a can opener), two tang stamps, one tool stamp, 3 3/4" closed, two springs, electrician or lineman, pattern or style of pocket knife. The bail is missing. The main blade front tang stamp says, "Imperial (with the crown) (over) PROV. R.I." with a vertical "USA" on the right side. The blade/wire stripping tool, front tang stamp, also says, "Imperial (with the crown) (over) PROV. R.I." with a vertical "USA" on the right side. The can opener front stamp says, "CAN OPENER (over) P 2391732" The main blade has a SOFT half stop. The main blade has an OK opening snap and it has an OK closing snap. The blade/wire stripping tool has NO half stop. The blade/wire stripping tool has NO opening snap and it has NO closing snap. The other two tools open, close, and function properly. Overall, this pocket knife is in VERY GOOD condition. It did require some very minor cleaning. I took some pictures and here it is.

Empire, lock released by pushing down on the master blade. I bought this knife from Brett Van Winkle, at the National Knife Show in Springfield Mo. Some of the older guys probably will remember Brett. Harold

This or the Signal Corps version has to be the king if you collect electrician’s knives or the TL-29’s.

Very nice. In the field we liked the Klein version of these. As well as the fixed blade hawk bills, I think they were called linoleum knives.
