Recently, this pocket knife arrived in a very large group or lot of pocket knives that I purchased. It now becomes the latest example to be posted under this topic or thread and to also join my general pocket knife collection. I did NOT buy the group or lot of pocket knives to obtain this particular pocket knife. But, it did turn out to be a keeper. It is a HAMMER BRAND, three blades, one tang stamp, 3 1/4" closed, two springs, pocket knife. The tang stamp says "HAMMER (over) BRAND (with the flexed arm & hammer) and also a vertical USA on the side. According to the tang stamp chart, it dates to circa 1945-1955. Overall, it is in EXCELLENT condition. All I did was wipe it off. I took some pictures and here it is.
Caption(s), if any, are on the BOTTOM of the corresponding picture(s).

Wannadotoo, that is a fine lookin' Pal!
It must have been wrapped up and hiding in someone's sock drawer for years.
Pal is a brand that seems to be uncommon around this part of the world. I found my 1st one down in the big flea market where TripleF (Scott) finds some of his goodies in Sumpter County Florida.
Thanks for posting this one, it's a looker!

I agree, that is a beautiful knife. A historic brand.
Is that a leather punch wanting to spring out the bottom on the other end?

Never heard of that myself, not that I'm well versed. But cool looking knife, great color, has character all over it. ::tu::

Fine-Edge was a German import brand by Ostiso, c.1921-1923. They were nice. I have 3, two are genuine mother of pearl. Yours is nice. ::tu:: ::tu:: J.O'.

Now you have gone and done it. Asking about old stockman. This pattern is the most common in my area. I will start with 10. Because of my lack of posting skills, I will post pictures in one group and then describe in a follow-up post.
