Had this one out to carry today. Stropped it a little and what I thought was a dull factory edge turned out to be mostly burr and got rid of that and it's left with a hair shaving edge. Excellent everything on this, walk and talk, centering, snap, action, transitions, flush open and closed. Love the knife. Thanks again Q.

I know I've said it before (many times in fact), but I'll say it again: the 1991 S&M Keystone Series 1 042151 is my all time, hands down, uncontested, blue ribbon, number one favorite Mini Trapper pattern ever.

Funny I kind of think Case when I think Mini T. But you're right, these are a great pattern and Queen did right on them. And they did some great bone IMHO, I just love the colors and seeing your array of hues in the line up from light to dark across the spectrum is a great shot. Really good bones. That one in the middle looks about like old Schrade peach seed look. I know the jigging is a bit different and all, but it's in the ball park and pretty for getting close. Great group. Love seeing a few to compare with good looks.

The run up is tight, it centers pretty well and the fit and finish are very good. Nice snap. It’s a bit harder to open than I like, but that’s normal with a knife this big. I look forward to more knives from S&M.

Rookie, I don’t know how many were made. The fact that I was able to get one tells me that it might have been a decent number of these. I will email C.Risener and see if they have a count. I’ll post it here if I find out.

I got my recent Ohio River Jack I posted from TPK, and I'm really pleased that they now ship to me because they have some desirable knives, IMO.
The deep rich color of those covers is outstanding, not to mention the gorgeous jigging.

Not being overly familiar with this brand I spent the last half hour viewing the S&M threads trying to determine where this model belongs, and I may be wrong but this one seems to be it! If there's a more appropriate thread please feel free to move it.
I recently purchased through ebay this 8 1/4" oal Schatt & Morgan Series X Harness Jack lockback, that has a spear-point SS blade with long-pull, steel bolsters and shield, brass liners and pins, and fading green/brown jigged bone covers.
Weighs-in around 4 oz.'s and came freshly sharpened. Walks and talks about 4, along with an excellent fit and finish, the previous owner took very good care of this baby.
This copy is showing both S & M and Queen Cutlery stamps and etches. Front tang reads "SxM Titusville PA.", and the rear tang reads "Queen Cut. Co. Titusville PA. 2000". Front blade is etched "Schatt Morgan/1 of 600".
It's not my usual style, but I want to expand my buying choices and this seemed like a good place to start!

Ordinarily I wouldn't know the answer to your question, ~Q~, but, not 5 minutes ago I read a comment from the Iman about the knife that stated, "I really like the saber grind", and since we both know he would know his edge grinds, yes, it's known as a "saber grind"!

Thanks, C-W, oddly enough, the length of the knife is a big part of the reason I bought it, but then I no longer have to go to work so it's length is all good by me! I do know what you're driving at though, any knife that long would feel out of place in pants pockets!
