So true, made me think back to the late 60’s, had an Austin Healy Sprite. Hubby was in the Army at Fort Lenardwood and I made several trips down there from Iowa on US 65 when it was all 2 lane hills and curves. One trip back home I basically road raced a Porsche for a 100 miles or more at night. Top speed 95mph.

Boji,
The sports car I always loved and wanted was out of my price range. Now, a restored one is virtually untouchable unless you have a fortune to spend. The XKE Jaguar was my dream car.
My first sports car was a Fiat Spider. Drove good but constantly breaking down. I learned the hard way that Fiat stands for “fix it again Tony” or “futile Italian attempt at transportation”.

Good Mornin', Chris and Diners to come in later.
Headin' out for men's prayer meeting, been a while since I've been able to attend because of early Tuesday morning doctor appointments. Got an appointment with the tire folks this morning but that's in our town.
Got a lot of mowing done yesterday, the weather was perfect, low humidity, light north wind and 87 degrees, just right! ::tu:: Starting out around 60 again this morning.
Y'all enjoy your day and be safe.

Good morning. I'm off to work again but maybe not for a full day. My legs just aren't cooperating as they should. The Swede in me tells me to sit down and relax and drink coffee all day, but the Norwegian in me won't let me. It says get to work so off I go. Have a great Tuesday. Did I mention I hate Tuesdays.____Dave

Good Morning Everyone!
I have an appointment with my lung doctor this morning to find out the results of the biopsy I had two weeks ago.
I'm concerned of course but it's all in God's hands. Hope you all have a blessed day and be safe.... :D

Oldest grandson, sophmore, playing on varsity was just noticed as the #1 leading rusher (609 yds), and #1 in rushing touchdowns with 11,
after 4 games into the season.
Feeling purty proud these days....

David,
Praying for good news on your test results. I can relate as I have COPD. 50+ years of heavy smoking took its toll. As you say, it’s in God’s hands.

Thoughts and prayers David.

Currently 53; it will get warmer. Sunny with clouds.

My sister returned safely last night from her class reunion in Chicago. Many of her peers went into nursing and as it turns out they were universally angry at the Covid mandates and other aspects of the pandemic.

Discovered two new groundhogs enjoying our pleasant surroundings. Traps will be deployed.

Mornin' Y'all

Scott, your hand in raising that youngster is showing !

Well, it seems that my posting about weather and pots has annoyed someone here at AAPK.
Breaks my heart, don't you know ...

Cool 58 to start this hump day, low 80's ahead. Nice break from the heat, but I dread winters . . .

And so, without further adieu ... the pot is singing and FCD greets the day!

Good Morning Royal and all who follow. Currently 56 and clear.

In a little while I'll take out the trash and make an early run to Kroger.

Doctor visit this afternoon.

Keep yourself safe this hump day.

Well good morning to everyone. Weather here is getting cooler and enjoyable. We typically have a very short time in fall before winter weather hits us. Winter is relatively mild here though.
David, hoping that your results came back ok on your lungs.
Fixing a beer mug of espresso coffee this morning to get my heart pumping. I’ve bad insomnia and after 4 days of little to no sleep, I slept for 10 hours straight yesterday. It was a first for me. Don’t know what causes the insomnia, probably age creeping up on me.
Anyway I hope y’all have a great day.

Good Mornin', Folks.
It's a bit warmer the morning, still looking for this fine weather to continue!
Scott, seems like just a few days ago you were posting the grandsons' pictures, and they were just little shavers out there fishing and camping out! Glad y'all are doing well. ::handshake::
Got all the mowing completed yesterday, even mowed around the deer feeder.
Got a new set of tires on Miss Joy's Ford Flex yesterday. Looks like she and her baby brother are going on a day trip tomorrow to find a missing niece that is involved in their dad's probate proceedings. ::shrug::
Coffee is ready, y'all enjoy the day!

Supposed to rain today. Just heard a crack of thunder that sounded real close so the weather prognosticators are apparently going to get it right. My daughter is in Bloomington, IL (from Mesa, AZ) for business so I drove down yesterday to visit with her. It's only two hours south of here but that trip wore me out. Worth it though to get to spend some time with her. Got to spend some time today getting things squared away with the VA and a Community Care Provider. I dread it but it has to be done. Ya'll take care of yourselves and have a good day.
