Not necessarily, Ken & Ryan have a Great relationship with GEC after all they were a huge part of its creation. I think it is only natural that they use A factory they know and love to make thier first run of knives. But, they have plans to use different factories to make different models. I bet you'll see this very soon ::tu::

Ken and Ryan are people persons. Mr Howard is not, he doesn't even list an E-mail on the web site. won't talk to regular folk.

That reads a little rough, maybe not the way it was intended....

Bill is not a salesman and not a customer service rep. He is no nonsense and a straight shooter, which I personally appreciate. But he has no problem talking knife technicals to those so inclined. Just doesn't have enough time to take calls/emails all day wanting chit-chat as he stays on the floor at one machine or another.

At last years Rendezvous I enjoyed a tour of the factory led by Mr. Howard. He was more then personable to everyone on tour, I think that it would also be unfair to say that he is not people person. Being sales persons for GEC, Ryan and Ken had to be more involved with the everyday collector, Bill Howard on the other hand is busy back at base turning out these fine knife. GEC will miss to great personalities and people, but I trust their knives will be top quality as always.
