Thanks, Joe I really enjoyed re-reading this thread that you started some 8 years ago. Kind of surprised there aren't more posts as I'm sure every knife collector/accumulator must have at least one or two Slim Trappers in their pile; it's such a ubiquitous pattern.

I particularly like the Queen City and the Case XX era with the single spay blade in the very first post of this thread.....man, the bones on those two are fabulous

I agree completely! All are beautiful knives, but the two with long pull, slightly broader blade, and the swedge are especially appealing.

Nice to see this old thread come back to life after seven years.

I do really enjoy these as well, always have. Here is one that I bought on the bay for $12 and it had cracked plastic covers on it. Bone is always my first choice, but I had this black micarta so I put that on.
