Thank you, Ike.
You were in the heart of some of the biggest names in the American fishing industry at that time.
There were also big names who were much earlier.
Yes, I do have some Heddon lures. Showing pictures of three early lures. I have many more but I can't identify them by sight and I would have to tear through my plastic bins to find them. All of my collection is clean and in clean plastic zip top bags. I have three bins full of stuff and once I get into them they seem to explode.

Here are three for your artifacts. The model 1873 winchester In 44-40 and an 1850 foot officers sword, made in Germany by Horstman. There is also a 1906 model 94 .30 cal. Interesting with a nickel steel bbl
And receiver. It was not blued.

Cal, what I have on display are some of my vintage fishing reels. I may replace them with cameras.

These two tubs are full of vintage terminal tackle. Actual tippets when they were sold on a card. French, English and American hooks.
Many kinds of lures and baits from earlier times. Many American and English names. I can't think of it all but there is a lot there.
And more than I am showing. I had no idea how much until I started photographing it for another forum. Never photographed it all.
Everything is clean. I kept thinking I was missing some early trolling lures and baits. I never found them ....... until months later.
I was so happy to find them and see them and remember them. They are beautiful. Never did photograph them.

Here is sweet little artifact that I would love to show off.

A early, If not the earliest, Zeiss Ikon box camera. It's their early "Box Tengor".
A rather sophisticated camera for a box camera. But that's Zeiss Ikon for you.
I have it loaded with 120 roll film. Kodak Portra, 160 iso. color film. This camera gives a large, medium format, 6x9cm negative.
I have not run one roll of film through it yet.
I'm showing it next to a Clauss/Challenge swell center, full sized hunter.

Nice camera Joe. I got an oldie. Here she is. Found the old rolls of film in other older cameras. Would love to see the pics that may still be on them.

Love those cameras! I had a Rolleiflex twin lens reflex (6x6 neg's)for awhile and a 4x5 press camera which I never did get set up for my darkroom. I have a rather complete darkroom which has been in boxes for twenty years. Big Beseler 23C with color head and two Nikon lenses, all the negative holders for every size, 11x14 easels, print washers, and so on. My favorite camera was my Pentax 6x7, all metal golden oldie with three lenses, extension tubes, yada yada yada. Still have that also. Never did color but I was a big Ansel Adams fan and have his trilogy in hardcover (if anyone needs it!). I have no idea what I am going to do with all this stuff; I tried to give it to the college but they didn't want it! The ultimate irony is that I have this little vest pocket Canon which I know will take good pics, but I haven't learned how to use it and the Asian speak manual is just gibberish to me. I must be getting old.

Awesome Cal! A Rolleiflex! Those are fantastic old cameras! I bought a Nikon EM in the Navy in 1979. Liked its simplicity. My eldest daughter now has it! Took her Baby pictures with it as well as her wedding pictures. She always said she wanted it so now she has it.

Cal, I'm sure you know that the Rolleiflex TLR is a highly sought after camera.
It's nice to know you used a camera. They are a lot of work/fun.
