Olde Cutler, I agree. And car batteries are also outrageous. I get my tires online and it’s CHEAPER than a tire shop. Go online to Tire Rack. They will have dozens of choices in each size. I have them ship to my mechanic for mounting and balancing. Ironically, one of the cheapest brands is also about the best tires I ever had. It’s called Hankook from South Korea. Best wear rated smooth riding and quiet. They were about $100 each, free shipping and my mechanic charged me $40 to mount and balance them. You can search by size or brands. Hope this helps.OLDE CUTLER wrote: ↑Thu Aug 11, 2022 10:40 am Gas is expensive enough, but the other day I got a jolting dose of reality when I had to price a new set of tires for the car. HOLY CRAP! Been quite a few years since I bought a full set of tires, and that is getting outrageous. Even though they're small tires for a small car the price was large.
