Anyone collect Watches?

When my son Barrett graduated with his undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech in 2017 we gave him my wife’s grandfather’s Waltham Premier pocket watch, circa 1940 that wasn’t working.
In 2018 I got on the waiting list for a watchmaker in Delaware. Late last year my number came up and today we got the restored watch back with a new crystal and hands.
I think it was worth the 6+ year wait given that it’s over 80 years old. Thanks for looking.
