Great post/pictures!!! What is the poster or picture that is hanging above the Sgt Pepper's? I feel like it is something I should know, but can't quite place it.toomanyknives wrote: ↑Tue Apr 22, 2025 3:49 am Man Cave first, I collect vintage stereo gear and guitars. Now that I see it in its entirety, I can't say that I do recognize or remember it......but what a classic poster! Thanks for showing.

Re: Work Shop / Knife Store / Hobby Area
Kerry, this is one of my "Happy Places" ... love running sound and playing bass!
I play a Yamaha 5 string bass and mix when our bass player is out ... multitask extreme.
SoundCraft 24 Channel Analog Mixing Console ... with pre board tube pre-amps, compressors and equalizers on vocals and bass,
a Lexicon reverb unit, a BBE Sonic Maximizer, and live recording on a CD recording unit. Old school warm sound!
The digital Presonus console we used prior is in the background of the first pic, where the video tech runs the overhead projector from a Mac.

Some really nice shops posted here! I enjoy zooming in and admiring the set ups and organization. Good idea starting this thread! The old ammo boxes and animals draw my attention especially! I’m a bird taxidermist and have a detached three car garage here at the house that serves as my workshop. I have recently acquired my father’s “shop inventory” and am struggling to find places to put it all and organize! In time I guess…

A couple more pics of my shop showing my packing station I built for shipping knives, and my office area. The desk I got from an upholstery client for $30 several years ago. It had the manufacturer's papers in it dated 1956. Old as I am.

John, your shop reminds me of way back when I used to copy old pie safes and small china cabinets for friends as a hobby. I haven't done any woodwork in quite a lonnng time though. Your have a very organized setup!

You got a great place there, Tony! Looks real nice!
Wish I had. Whole room to devote, Ridgegrass! Very nice layout and the way you have the knives displayed.
Seems to me you have the garage fixed up real nice, David! Great work space!
