the wife has said in the past "Will you please quit buying all this old crap! We can't afford it." I replied " As soon as you cancel the cable television and quit wasting money on vacations." I'm still buying knives and tools. She's still planning vacations.

Paul,

We had just gotten this little Kabar peanut in the mail. I am not sure of the date of this one. They are nice little knives!

Thanks, guys. Another one of Bret's finds. He is always on the lookout for Kabars. Kabar is one of his favorite companies.

I don't know why I didn't look in my Goins (duh), but thanks for pointing me towards my bookcase, Gino.
Meanwhile, here are two that sorta illustrate my diverse interests. The Buck was given to me by my son on a umm... birthday, to my great shock and delight, back in 2006, and actually is the first knife I owned (and I have had a number that were just tools to me) that piqued my interest and was a launchpad for insanity in the first degree. ::tu::  ::td::  ::tu:: The other knife, a GEC Northfield, is pretty different. I also like.... oh shucks; almost everything old and lots of new. I even like yellow ones, Ken!
