That's a nice little knife. I have one that is quite similar to yours. I think yours is in better condition.
I'll dig mine out tomorrow. What is the length of yours?

Its a shade under 3" closed - I've been after a sheffield boys knife to compliment my GEC #14 for quite some time

I'd like a couple more - another of these in wood or buffalo with the third being the same but 3.25"

but honestly i'm hoovering up any Rodgers knives i can find at the moment :D

looks great, same sort of size as mine but with a bit of a curve to the handle - scales look alot more round too

I would have to use that one all the time

This isn't a Roger's but it is Sheffield. It's stamped Cambridge Works, Sheffield. I can't find much information that fits this knife so I hope it's actually what the tang says. It sure has some nice looking horn. It has been repined sometime before I got it but appears to be otherwise original.____Dave

Paul that is a very desirable old knife. Blade not sharpened away and bone really lovely. I am proud for you that you have it. ::nod::

Stunner Paul ::tu:: ::tu:: ... Bone is sweet and blades look to be in great condition with a nice patina!! What is the closed length? I’m thinking a classic boys knife if 3 1/2” or less ::nod:: ...

Thank you all.

Lee it measures 3 3/8".

Ivoryman, I'd guess it is probably from the 1920's or 1930's due to the bone, give or take a few years. It's pretty safe to say it's a pre war knife.

Thank you Charlie and Ivoryman.

Another barehead is this schrade cut boys knife with original chain. I am very grateful to have this fine old example in my collection.

Another great knife Paul, you don't find to many with their original chain, really nice find.

Are those initials etched into the blade?

It's a great Boy's Knife.

One could build quite a nice collection of those, from many quality makers, as well as some rather inexpensive ones.

Oh wait, I think someone's already done that. ::tu::
