Rained another 2.4" here last night! Not sure but seems like we've had more rain already this year than we got the last 2 or 3 years combined. At least we haven't had storm damage that some have experienced. Forecast says 30 to 70% chance of rain every day for next 10 days!

Wheat crop is heavy and starting to ripen, sure hope it dries up enough to get it out of the field.

We're starting to see some of that rain y'all have been getting. Seems like the April showers have slipped over into May.
Ken, you'll have to get some ducks or a moose to teach the cattle how to hold their breath while grazing under water.

Thanks for the idea Jerry! After we got another 7 inches in the past 3 days I've got em all fitted with snorkels! I think we'll get a dry day today and maybe tomorrow but forecast is for more rain again starting Wednesday and every day for another week.

It is 102º as I write this. There is nothing you can do outside that is any fun. Likely another 45 days until we get a break here.

We had a cool morning here in the Willamette Valley, but it is supposed to be 80 this afternoon. I have not yet had to turn on the A/C today. I am headed out to the shop, I will need the A/C out there as the South facing garage door is not insulated. The afternoon sun warms it up like an oven!
The last couple days have been a nice break from a record number of days over 90 degrees!

The weatherman said last night that we were within just a little over an inch of having recieved our total average rainfall for the year with nearly five months remaining in 2015. We can't seem to go more than two days at a time without rain.

The last couple of weeks and the foreseeable future have been and is supposed to be just about perfect. Lots of sunshine. Days in the high 70s and low 80s. A little dab of rain now and then just to keep things green. Humidity in the 40s and low 50s and the night time temperatures dropping down into the high 50s & low 60s for some great sleeping weather. Even Scott could tolerate this weather.

I hear ha, Phil! Kinda the same thing here. We've had our share of rain in the last three months and it's helped to keep the temps down overall this summer.

We have actually been a little dry this year, but nothing serious. It's been a pretty pleasant summer. The nights lately have been in the 50's and days in the 70's which for me is perfect. We had thunder and rain last night and foggy and damp today, but next week is promising to be near perfect with a little rain. The forecast for this winter is warm and not much snow. Hope it holds up. ___Dave
