John I had just about quit drinking beer for that reason until I discovered the Brown Ale category. Lagers, IPA's, Stouts all made me gag a little bit. I have discovered that you must become very selective though even in this category.
I had COVID and lost all taste and smell. Right now I am at about 80 percent regained on everything but beer.
I do keep trying and hoping my taste for beer comes back.

John
You should just keep drinking non-stop until your taste buds come back to life! Drown those little taste buds and show them whoβs the boss!
(Glad to hear youβre getting some of your taste back!)
Jeff
Jeff, this advice is brilliant!!!
PS. I love IPAs!!

Oh snap, John! I'm heading to Cumberland in a couple hours! BTW- Dig Deep Brewery across the parking lot is most excellent.

A great choice! BTW- Dig Deep is across the parking lot from the Fairfield Inn, not Hampton.

They do crowlers too (beer to go).

Shoot me a PM if you're looking for anything Cumberland related (restaurants, historic sites, hiking trails, etc.) or have some free time to talk knives over the weekend. Bringing an "overnight bag" with me.

We parked in that lot and walked by. Saw them setting up outside for a band.

Just kicking back watching Houston kick some Boston butt in the ALCS...not because I care either way who wins, but it gives me something to do while trying a new beer (and, yes...drinking beer while watching a ball game on TV actually IS considered "doing something" regardless of what my wife may think!

)
This "Vailima" Samoan Lager is pretty tasty.
Sometimes what's on the outside of the bottle can be just as interesting as what's inside the bottle (I wonder what happened to the woman

).
Oh...and BTW, my dear...I also happen to be trying to improve my health...
...and my neighborhood relationships...
We all know that beer can have "body," but did you know beer can also have wit?
