Good Mornin', Fellers.
Chris, you're right about it being too cold, 24° here at Starvation Plantation, still snow scattered about and still on the roof. It is amazing how different the country side looks with the snow highlighting areas that normally are dark and unnoticed.
Got our deer feeder filled yesterday morning. We need to make a run to town this morning, Miss Joy is planning a surprise birthday meal for one of our special friends Sunday after church. We'll go by Waffle House and have a Fiesta Omelet for breakfast before we go to the grocery store.
The front yard is alive with birds and squirrels having a big time in and out of the remaining snow!
Coffin being poured, y'all have a good day

Good morning. It finally warmer up here. It's 24 degrees out there. It's still too cold for mosquitoes so that makes it near perfect. We even got a couple inches of snow to freshen up the scenery. They are still telling us to expect 30 in a day or two. We are off this morning to get some groceries, chicken feed, dog food. and Jane wants to stop at the book store. I told her if she's stopping at the book store, I'm stopping at the antique shop. If I don't buy a knife soon, I'll feel like an imposter hanging around AAPK. We are meeting two couples for Chinese at noon, and then home for a nap. Have a good weekend.____Dave

It's 41 degrees now, and it's nice to be above freezing. Snow is gone, of course, and there is less intensity around the bird feeders.

Need to make a Kroger run today for human food.

Slept later than usual.

Good Evening to all you knifers out there. I was up early and off to a weekend show for the day and the crowd was refreshing. More folks than I had seen at the last couple of shows. I bought a few and sold a few during the day.
Our temps have moderated. It is 55º right now and we may get some much needed rain tomorrow.
Hope you've had a great day today and I wish you all a blessed day tomorrow.

Mornin' Y'all

Slightly warmer at 35, heading for a blistering 58 today!

Yesterday was almost a bust. The washing machine quit after filling up with water, just sits there and hums, won't spin.
Wife grabbed the wet clothes and headed to the coin laundry in town to wash, then brought 'em home to dry.
Shortly after returning, she got a surprise call from our son to come visit the grand kids !
::ds::
We've not seen them in months, at least since August. It took the eldest a bit to warm up to us again;
always does. The youngest just turned a year old last week.

Pot's almost ready, yawl have a grand Sunday

Good Mornin', Chris and others who will stop by this morning. ::tu::
31° this morning. This is probably the last below freezing day related to the snow event of last week. Wonder what is next?
Church in a few hours. Then the surprise birthday dinner for our friend. Today is also the birthday of our eldest daughter and also our son. They are 5 years apart. They live in different places in Georgia, phone calls are in order.
Y'all have a wonderful day and make it to a worship service if you can.

Good morning. About 10 degrees to start the day. Yesterday we hit some heavy snow for a short period of time heading into town to meet friends for lunch but it didn't amount to much. I got a call from the neighbor lady whose house we just finished the siding job for and her septic system seems to be frozen. Jason went over and tried to force a snake through but couldn't get it open. She will have to get someone to steam it open and hope it stays open for the rest of Winter. The drain line goes under her driveway so without snow cover and if the one installing the system didn't put foam down over the line before covering it, she is likely to always have trouble during cold Winters. Church is in a couple hours and then a two hour drive to a celebration of life for one of our daughter-in-law's brothers. It's sad because he was a young man that loved to party and likely drank himself to death. When we got home yesterday our little Springer/blue healer walked up to the door, fell over and couldn't get up. She started screaming and looked like she was having some kind of seizure. Jason picked her up, brought her into the house and set her down. Then she got up, walked over and picked up one of her toys and started playing and is fine now. It scared the crap out of me. That was more drama than I can handle any more. Hope you all have a quiet, restful Sabbath day and don't forget to get to church. It helps.____Dave

Good Morning. It is well above freezing.

I caught a big flock of Mourning Doves descending on a fresh supply of bird seed and had to shoo them away. They could have gone thru pounds of feed in a few minutes.

Need to get the car serviced.

Brought home a beautiful pot roast destined for the crockpot eventually.

A very close friend of my sister who is dying of cancer wants to go on a cruise and Bev will accompany her. I am not thrilled with the idea because the patient's immune system is damaged by all the chemo she received and cruise ships are notorious for spreading bacteria and viruses. Also, she was given so much chemo that all her bones have been dangerously weakened. I'll place this situation in the prayer room.

Good mornin' to you, JerryD and to those who follow. I have a mid-morning appointment with the dermatologist and an early evening Lion's Club meeting. Out temps are mild at 44º so I can't complain about that.
The Sunday crowd at the show was way more than usual and sales were brisk. It was a fun day.
Hope your day is a good'un.

Good Morning Everyone!
Glad you had a good sales day Ray!
My sleep has been terrible except the last 2 days I've gone to bed and didn't even
roll over until it was time to get up. I sure hope that keeps up. As much as I hate
to I've got to start getting all my tax documents organized, so that is what I will be
spending time on today. Have a blessed day and be safe.... :D

Good morning. Not much of interest happening today, and I hope it stays that way. I don't like surprises. The temp is Ok for this time of the year. We decided to spend one more day closing up the ceiling on the big house we've been working on before pulling off for a few days to lay a laminate floor. Then it will be back to the big house to blow insulation into the 3rd floor ceiling, and likely drop their monthly heating bill by about a thousand a month. I can't even imagine what they pay for a 50X60 full two story (three with the 10 ft high heated basement) with the 3rd floor ceiling open to the ceiling and soffit venting and uninsulated spancrete floors between stories. That work would have been done before I would even have considered moving in. The owner has been working on it himself for at least a year before hiring us to close it up and insulate. He insulated the outside walls, but all the wall channels and corners aren't insulated, so we will drill holes into them and spray foam the cavities shut before we leave. That's about my week in a nutshell. Have a good one.____Dave

Good Mornin', Folks.
44° this morning, very cloudy. Looked at a weather site and we're on the south side of a big rain event. Rain is apparently just up the road a short distance. ::shrug::
Shoulder shot tomorrow in Panama City, not too much going on today other than normal chores.
Coffee is about to be served. ::tu::
Y'all be safe today.

Morning folks, 28 for the overnight low, supposed to get to the mid 40's. We were supposed to get some light rain and snow flurries but I see no evidence of it.
If the weather forecast lives up to the NWS predictions we are in for a couple of weeks of nice temperatures. ::ds::
I'm like David I had a wonderful sleep last night, was 6:15 a.m. before I even rolled over, check the plumbing out and went back till dang near 7:30. The boss said wampus wuz p'oded wondering where that ole man that feeds him wuz at, so she went and feed him said he look at her like what the heck is going on.
I've got to go to Sam's club and pick up a prescription for the boss, other than that no concrete plans.
Hope yawl have a good'un and be careful out there. ::handshake::

Good Mornin', David and others to stop by for the FCD visit.
Looks like we're in for some fair weather. 40° this morning, yesterday's rain didn't amount to much. Drizzled for a few hours in the morning and a few very light passing showers ending after dark.
Got a shoulder shot scheduled this morning Panama, missed the men's prayer meeting.
Hope y'all have a great day.
