FRJ, that Cattle knife a page back is insanely cool. The bones and patina. Bravo.

8 O T with Jeffin bones, which I loooooooove. And an Edward K Tryon Philadelphia with 80 year old bones I love too. Happy holiday week everybody.

That Tryon is an absolute beauty, and that 3rd pic is a great one, brings to mind John Masefield....."Sea Fever".

I’m carrying Uncle Howie’s
Old Ulster Boy Scout knife that you can still make out the etching on. And I will give you one guess what I’m about to open with it.
If you guess my 2024 AAPK knife you are only partially correct.
Not one of the pocket or fixed blade knives that I have posted have I purchased. Dad was the collector.

2024 AAPK is the first knife I’ve purchased.

I had forgotten about the Chicago connection to Hubbard Spencer Bartlett, so pure coincidence.
Those brands could help elevate the status of Chicago if that's at all possible.
