I'm with you on the 6275, love a moose! You keep the hatchet but send me the fixed blade, those handles are beautiful.Dullest_knife wrote: βFri Aug 30, 2024 8:25 pm Got one more, Iβm a sucker for those Lrg Moose, especially older ones.
Thanks R&R & Dullest_knife
Buddy I traded with had emailed with Case:Zippo , authentic 40βs fish scaler, good possibility itβs the original edge. It does have a long crack on one side, but I agree those handles are beautiful. Some of the nicest Iβve owned - for age, thx Timtreefarmer wrote: βFri Aug 30, 2024 9:29 pmI'm with you on the 6275, love a moose! That's a real beauty, Rick! I have a couple of the new ones that I really like. Here's one of them.RedRaiderRick wrote: βSun Dec 08, 2024 2:49 pm I wanted to show a few closeups of the Case sodbuster Jr, and Jumpstart the Case threads again. It's been too quiet here compared to the other threads. I really like the color and deep jigging texture of this one.20241208_073241.jpg20241208_073212.jpg20241208_073203.jpg
That's a good un' OC. And you aint kiddin' about that sheepsfoot blade. They really got their moneys worth out of that one!OLDE CUTLER wrote: βSun Dec 08, 2024 7:24 pm I picked up this Case XX stockman at the local flea market this weekend for a few bucks. It is a 6318HE. One thing you may notice is that the previous owner LOVED that sheepsfoot blade. In fact it looks like the only blade that was used. That's OK, I really prefer to use the clip or pen blade anyway. Should be able to straighten that up with the Lansky. Now it is in my pocket as an EDC.

After doing some work with the Lansky I was able to reprofile the mutilated sheepsfoot into a cope type blade.toomanyknives wrote: βSun Dec 08, 2024 7:31 pmThat's a good un' OC.
