Got a bunch of sweet potatoes given to me and I knew I liked raw potatoes, when mom would slice them up to fry, I would always grab a handful of raw potatoe. First time with raw sweet potatoe. It ain't bad! :) might be a country boy thing, I dont know. :) slicing it up with my Case Muscrat.
Cool slicer, Kevin, but be careful eating raw food, ::hmm:: parasites and whatnot you know. :shock: Mind you, if you've been doing so since you were a kid, you're either incredibly lucky or you're immune! You certainly need not worry about losing that knife, that bright red makes it very visible!

Thank you Mark! Those Muscrats are great slicers. That ones color just makes me happy. I must be immune I guess as for eating raw taters! :) ::handshake::

Cool knife, Scott, with that long blade I'm guessing it's a bread knife, yes? ::shrug::

Absolutely no clue.....the spine is pretty thick to be a bread knife....

I'm afraid not, Dog, that's called a "fork"! ::nod::
..... ::facepalm::
Well, it took me 4 times reading the line over and over, ::facepalm:: but I finally got the point, the SPEAR-point that is! ::groove::
Thanks, Dog, I was in time to correct it! I was so concentrated on the "fork" joke that I overlooked the typo! ::dang::

As I said in a post yesterday, I carry the knives I buy for the most part. I have a small handful that I do not carry, but most of that is for some type of sentimental reason. Having said that, here is what I have in my pocket today. A Robert Klaas congress. I love this knife..... It is small and comfortable in my pocket. It is also very sharp (as most of my knives are). I have learned to appreciate congress style knives. I used to only like stockman style, but these have really grown on me. Any comments or info is welcomed.
