Barry, that Empire sure has a lot going for it: good blade etch, long pull, flat handles and bolster and bareheaded!

I didn't measure it that accurately

I think the advertised size would be three and a third inches
I havn't got that many as I only collect vintage Sheffield folders and single blade bareheads are hard to come by over here
if I collected penknives or sleeveboards I'd have dozens but I hold out for Barehead Jacks and only thoae between 3 and 3.3"

Corso, Please be sure and post more pictures of that knife after it is received. It looks like a dandy, blades appear full and wood that is visible, looks really nice.

I don't think Russell was assigning model numbers in those days.
They did stamp the back of the tang, however.
