Great old jacks, Corso and Paul T.! ::tu:: ::tu::
Barry, that Empire sure has a lot going for it: good blade etch, long pull, flat handles and bolster and bareheaded! ::tu::

85 mm, that puts it at 3 11/32" on my caliper and rule. very nice, Thank you.

I've got to hand it to you guys over there having to figure out those funny marks. ::poke:: - -

How large is your boys knife collection?

I didn't measure it that accurately :) I think the advertised size would be three and a third inches

I havn't got that many as I only collect vintage Sheffield folders and single blade bareheads are hard to come by over here

if I collected penknives or sleeveboards I'd have dozens but I hold out for Barehead Jacks and only thoae between 3 and 3.3"

Everyone's gota have a thing...

Well, sir, you have much more control than I do. ::nod::
Much to your credit.

Corso, Please be sure and post more pictures of that knife after it is received. It looks like a dandy, blades appear full and wood that is visible, looks really nice.

Thank you, Corso.
I don't think Russell was assigning model numbers in those days.
They did stamp the back of the tang, however.
