Some nice RR being posted. ::nod::
Here are my three 'Brown Stag Bone' Rough Ryders.

SMKW Has 25 'Brown Stag Bone' listed on their Website.
I'm contemplating acquiring the entire set. ::hmm::
As of 06/21/2020, 10 are currently on backorder, including the 3 I have posted below.
All three have excellent bone jigging, color and workmanship, out of the box razor-sharp.

Thanks Tom.
I always look forward to Rough Rider's new items and wish they would bring back some of their older knives that I missed out on.

I believe the "Wild Flowers Series" are the newest additions to smkw Rough Ryder knives. $9.99 each. ::tu::
I should have these in a couple days. Perhaps I should have ordered two of each? After my wife inspects these, she may request a "Woman-cave" :x

Very cool display of your RRs, David. That mirror in the back initially confused me: I thought there were twice as m any knives a first glance!

Yeh, it looks good in person, but a little confusing in a photo.

As Ted, the 'Colonel' was on his way to 'Kettle Hill' he dropped off the below package in my mailbox.
(Actually, the Rough Riders charge up 'Kettle Hill' was exactly 122 years ago today) July 01, 1898.
download (2).jpg

I seldom scan my knives on a flatbed scanner for aapk posts, however, for a little change of normalcy I think the results are quite acceptable.

img250.jpg
Above are my most recent Rough Ryder's.

I have been observing the 'Tobacco Road and Buckshot Bone series' for some time now, and after having them in hand, they are much better than all the pictures I have observed, including the 'Easy Money Series'
All the above RRs came in excellent condition. I may complete the whole series.
The new 'Flower and Roses Series' are visually gorgeous. I might add that if you have a gift to be purchased for that special Lady in your near future, you may want to consider adding one of the 'Flower or Roses' knives to her gift. Just saying.
The workmanship is excellent on every one.

Top to bottom:

Tobacco Road Trapper. RR1892
Tobacco Road Three Blade Sowbelly. RR1894
Buckshot Bone Two Blade Sowbelly Trapper RR1906
Red Roses Peanut RR2090
Red Roses Trapper RR2097
Wild Flowers Series Small Toothpick RR2092
Alstroemeria Lady Leg Knife RR2096
Easy Money Canoe RR1890

Great looking knives Dan, everyone of them. And i know from experience that any of them would also be a good work knife to use. So there is a "Red Roses" series and a "Wildflower" series ?

Go to:
https://www.smkw.com/rough-ryder-red-roses-trapper
than click on the video from (Guys Talk Knives 108)
The first knife he talks about is the new Flower's series.
smkw.com also have: Pink Tulips, Sunflowers and Cherry Blossom knives in another series, however, they are all on backorder and will notify you when they have restock if you request.

There are many RR dealers but does SMKW have exclusive rights to sell some series that other dealers have no access to ? I realize that owners of SMKW are also the owners of RR brand.

I wouldn't be surprised. SMKW sells a lot of special models only made for them.

This is my latest Rough Rider to add to my collection.
440A Stainless Steel Blades. Reverse Frosted Master Etch. Embossed Nickel Silver Handle with Black Accents. White and Synthetic Red and Blue Turquoise Spacers. Brass Liners. Nickel Silver Bolsters.
Measures: 2-1/2” Spear Point Blade. 2” Small Spear Point Blade. 1/16” Blade Thickness. 3-5/8” Closed.

BTW why don't we have a thread in the Brand Specific section for Rough Rider?

Nice one David!!

To your question, I believe, and I could be wrong, there is a large contingent here on AAPK that are not keen on Chinese made knives. They may not consider them "real" knives ::shrug::  "If it's not made in the USA..."

Well, we do. Sorta. And you're in it now. It's just not Rough Rider specific so I guess it would be kind of like posting Case knives in a Forum titled "U.S. Made Knives". ::shrug::

Ask the boss. Bryan makes the sub-forums.
