Interesting. Let me know if it's good.
I used to drink Youngs Chocolate Stout occasionally. It was good.

I need to get me some!!!
I had a Warsteiner Oktoberfest with sauerbraten, German potato salad and rot kraut for dinner.

Looks like Oktoberfest is over.

It was a delicious recipe I found online, will have to post it on our AAPK Cookbook thread. The hardest part is boiling the potatoes to the perfect texture- done but not mushy. Your brew sounds delicious too, Q!
Jumping on the "beer" wagon, picked up some of these Hershey Chocolate porters to try and another seasonal offering from Harpoon.

Had a Samuel Adams today...just the regular Boston Lager...nothing seasonal or too "spicy" (for a change)...and I must admit, I've been trying so many new beers that I had forgotten how much I like a good ol' lager...probably my all-time favorite type of beer.
This was my Halloween treat (pumpkin spice cookies...Mmmmmmmnnnnn!!!)

Sounds 'n looks delicious Quint!
Finishing up the day, enjoy this new brew. Verdict:
It has a nice apple cider/sour taste, that I really like. Not better, nor worse then Hennie/Claust. It's more their equal, nice change to them.
And @ 8 bucks for a 6-pack, pretty much the cheapest 0.0 I've found so far.

Tried this one with chicken cordon bleu last night.
Told the bride I was international ... she said no, just european .. ... ..
Actually a tasty brew. A different bite compared to my usual wheats.

How you been liking the Hershey's mate? I know chocolate and coffee go well together, I don't know about beer...
Partake has a new Peach Gose, that I really want to try. And a red ale, that sounds delish.

Very drinkable when the weather turns colder. Young's Double Chocolate Stout was my first chocolate beer experience and I liked it. This Yeungling offering is just as delicious. I like Gose's too, but seems like more of a warm weather brew to me. I used to always drink Killian's Irish Red back in the 90's and still love it.
You just have to try it and see, Willy.

This one is actually brewed with Dunkin Donuts coffee. Harpoon Brewery is based in Boston, MA and Windsor, VT.

I think you're on to something here John. Think I'll go Hoegaarden, Red, then the Gose. See which I prefer more...
Still like Claust's regular, and they make a bunch of different styles, which I've been meaning to get a take, just so much one can afford for the month...

IPAs are not to my liking, but this one is interesting. The blueberry and subtle sweetness cut the grapefruity taste of IPAs that I don't like. It's not so terrible!
