All About Pocket Knives

Awesome carries, QS, David, gard and bighomer. Incidentally, I was given the Chinese knockoff of that Benchmade OTF, gard, as a gag gift. It weights about 2 ozs!


Totin' one I picked up recently, a Sterling Cutlery Co., Germany, multitool. The Germans had bolster issues, the soldered ones fall off easily. Not sure if this one had a bail, but someone re-pinned it, which probably split the shell-like bolster. But, it doesn't bother me and I love the scales.

Looks like my luck is finally improving ... ... I woke up this morning with about 141 things to do in town today and went out to find a completely dead battery (looks like it will have to be replaced for about $200 the battery isn't taking a charge ) . I then went to my second car to find that there was a nail in the tire (a cheaper fix at $20) The second time in a month (I think from going to the scrap yard with all kinds of nails and small sharp metal that people throw out on the ground). So my entire day was blown with dealing with out of service vehicles

I was just watching a TV show called lucky dog , you weren't in it.

So sorry for your loss, and it's fantastic that you honor your dad by carrying those knives.

Lost my mom August 13th. I wear a certain watch often in her memory because she gave me the bracelet the watch is on.

...Thanks B.H. for confirming that for me ..... ..... Along with the Kaput car battery and the flat tire, my "spare" car has sprung a massive leak in the radiator.... ... .... .....

I can only drive a few miles and I'm down 1-2 gallons.... .... sometimes everything hits at once.....
