A Case 2001 Silver Script Sowbelly.
That's beautiful!
I had that exact one cranberry bone silver script. Bought it from a hardware store when I was about 13 years old. I remember asking the owner how much it cost and expecting like $75 - $80. He looked in his price book and replied, "Thirty dollars" I don't know if he read the wrong price, or just gave me a deal since it was around Christmas. I helped my older brother butcher deer with that knife then gave it to one of my other brothers. It's his " deer skinning knife"
That knife will always have a place in my heart.
Thank you for your story!! I'm glad you like it!! I was given this knife by my boss. He found it at a swap meet and thought of me and gifted it to me. I think a Sowbelly with its.curved shape sits well in the pocket. I'm grateful to hear your story!! Thank you!

Are you hinting that you wish to trade that NYK for this Fletcher?
Nice knife, great shield, great stamp.....you need to post it in the Single Blade Saturday thread.
I have a NYK arched stamp, but I am pretty sure it is a little different than that one.

Ike; it's called a Schrade Walden 209 Lunker. Only made a couple years. The flag was given to me by my Son-In-Law who retired as a Gunnery Sergeant in the Marine Corps. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan.

knife was made only 2 years. 1972 and 1973. Cost a whopping 8 bucks back then.
