That one is about 15 miles from my house. I think the truck is a Studebaker, but there is no markings on it whatsoever.1967redrider wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2026 9:45 pmMost def!Waukonda wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2026 5:48 pmFried pork skins with a little heat added....a good healthy snack!1967redrider wrote: ↑Thu Jun 11, 2026 5:30 pm
Ike, I love those pork rinds, they sell them at Sheetz. Sweet Russell too.![]()

I haven't been to a Sheetz, they are gradually moving this way. I think there are now 2 or 3 locations around Detroit, I'll have to stop in next time I am that way and tell 'em Knipper sent me!![]()
How about Buc-ee's? This one was outside of Dayton, OH. When Herb and I went to the Shenandoah Valley Knife Collectors Club show in Harrisonburg, VA, I talked him into stopping at that Buc-ee's. It was lunchtime on Good Friday. I don’t think he was impressed.

Sorry I missed you, Bill. We could have met up for some knife talk and a BBQ sandwich. I wish they had picnic tables outside. My wife and I ate our sandwiches sitting on the parking lot curb, like we were urban campers.edgy46 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 12, 2026 11:40 amThat one is about 15 miles from my house. I'll carry this old Camillus rope knife today. Picked it up at my monthly trek to the antique show.
Nice full blade, great walk and talk, sharpened up nicely.

Great carries all!
With the one-year anniversary of his passing coming early next week, I'll be carrying a different vintage Bone for the next several days in memory of Ivoryman, who was a huge fan of the old Bones.

Thanks, Bill, toomany and Ike.
If they had these at Buc-ee's, I'd be broke.

This was originally a novelty with the image of Babe Ruth on the handle until I rubbed it off.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
My Ivoryman memorial carry for today is this Schrade+ 175 that I had Kaleb modify with smooth natural bone and red spacer and reprofile the sheepsfoot blade to a Wharncliffe before giving it to Brian. A few weeks after his death last year, his wife, Cindy, sent it back to me along with several others she knew would be sentimental to me.
RIP Brian
