Nice foliage pics, guys.
Some shots from around the house. We've had a decent amount of rain here in north Texas this spring, and the wife has been working on the flower beds and patio.

Great pictures Mike and BH, you guys have a lot to admire, quite impressive. I stepped out 1st thing this morning and was checking out the pollination action around the Hostas.

Beautiful pics Homer and Ike.
I wish we could grow some Hosta's here, but it is usually too dry and the deer and cotton tails will eat them. We seem to have a bumper crop of rabbits this year, and they don't seem to be afraid of us. They will let you get within a couple of feet before hopping off. Ruger has caught a couple in the back yard (they did not survive), much to my wife's distress. She has to be fairly selective on what she can plant, otherwise the critters eat them up.

Beautiful pictures y’all. My cousin who lives in Missouri has big, beautiful hostas. bI really like the looks of hostas and have tried them several times in different locations. Fail every time. I’ve decided they don’t like the summer heat. I can nurse them through until fall but they never look like they did when initially planted, and they don’t come back in the Spring. So I’ve given up on them. Trying something new this year called Leopard plant. Supposed to like shade. So far, so good. We’ll see how they do.

Well that has a unique look to it, reminds me of an Ivy, does it have trailing vines like an Ivy?

No it's a short mounding upright bushy plant. Supposed to have yellow flowers in the fall. I just got two plants to try them, planted them in among the oakleaf hydrangeas because they're supposed to like similar conditions. So do hostas.

We had another Chittumwood (Gum Bumelia) tree fall over in some high winds night before last. As I was chain-sawing it up, I looked over and saw a emerald green beetle on a still-standing Chittumwood tree next to me. I thought to myself - "Oh, that is one of the Emerald Ash Borers that is killing all my Ash trees". But I was wrong. It was a Texas Longhorn Bumelia borer - which bore into Chittumwood trees.
Great, another borer beetle killing my trees.

That is more wicked looking than the EAB. A new one on me, of course we don't have Chittumwood up here.

Beautiful lillies, Ike! Ours here are just about done, only a few straggler blooms left now.
Tom, you have a way with cactus. Who knew a plant thought of as being from the desert would do so well in Germany?!
